RUSHWICK are the early pacesetters in Worcestershire County League Division Three after they claimed back-to-back wins with a 40-run success away to Malvern.
The visitors were put into bat after losing the toss where they posted a respectable 233-7 from their 50 overs.
It was not a good day for the Malvern bowlers who contributed to 63 extras to Rushwick’s tally.
Jeremy Pilgrim (3-55) got the pick of the wickets for Malvern.
In reply, the Ramblers made good headway through Jamie Williams (56) before he departed after hitting his own wicket.
Mark Davidson (3-42) and Lewis Hooper (3-62) helped clear the middle order before Rushwick bowled out their rivals for 193 in the 48th over.
Rushwick make the trip to Harborne on Saturday while Malvern are on the road to Avoncroft.
