HANLEY Castle & Upton are running out of games if they want to avoid the drop from Worcestershire County League Division Three following their 39-run defeat to Five Ways Old Edwardians.
Five Ways were bowled out for 211 with George Barrell (4-40) doing the damage with the ball.
In reply only Todd Mathews (61), Barrell (31) and Matthew Pratley (24) broke into double figures as Hanley were bustled out for 172 inside 40 overs.
The defeat leaves Hanley 56 points adrift from safety with six games remaining.
Hanley entertain promotion-chasing Rushwick on Saturday.
