RYAN TONGUE and George Rhodes starred with the bat as Barnards Green claimed a seven-wicket victory over winless Brockhampton in Birmingham League Division One on Saturday.
The Herefordshire side opted to bat after winning the toss where they posted a respectable 239-9 in their 50 overs.
Joe Crichard (70) and opener Adam Hewlett (65) starred with the bat while Jonathan Dovey (2-38) and Rhodes (2-33) were pick of the Green bowlers.
In reply Rhodes then crashed 82 off 80 balls while Tongue made 83 off 103 balls to guide Green to 241-3 after 38.3 overs.
Phil Harris also chipped in with an unbeaten 31.
Green welcome Oswestry to North End Lane on Saturday.
