MALVERN Town focus their attentions on cup football this weekend when they face Tividale in the FA Vase.
After an eventful week, which saw Les Jones’ side suffer a heavy 6-2 loss to Wolverhampton Sporting Community before a sensational comeback saw them beat Smethwick 5-3 on Wednesday, Malvern will seek cup glory on home soil on Saturday with victory in the first qualifying round o the national competition.
But it will be a tough test for the hosts with Tividale plying their trade one league above in the Midlands League Premier Division.
However Saturday’s visitors have not made a good start and currently sit bottom of the table.
