WEST Malvern had a day to forget with the bat as they fell to a 94-run defeat to Astwood Bank Thirds in Worcestershire County League Division Four.
Bank were put into bat after losing the toss where they were bowled out for 193.
Isa Zarro (40) top scored while Peter Gurr (4-21) and Matthew Hindmarsh (3-35) shone with the ball.
Unfortunately Malvern faltered in their run chase as they were all out for just 99 after 32 overs.
Only Philip Chaundy (17) and Matthew Hartley (19 not out) reached double figures.
Malvern entertain Himley on Saturday.
