MALVERN remain at the foot of the Worcestershire County League Division Three table after crashing to an eight-wicket defeat to Lye.
The Ramblers were put into bat with David Cox (40) and Damon Ankers (34 not out) top scoring for the visitors who were all out for 135 in the 44th over.
Nadeem Hussain (4-23) was the pick of the Lye bowlers.
Waqas Ahmed (61no) then led the charge with the bat as Lye cruised to 141-2 in just the 19th over.
Malvern travel to Martley on Saturday.
