MALVERN residents are being urged to lace up their running shoes and get to the starting line of one of several 12-week Couch to 5k courses taking place in Victoria Park.
Malvern Hills District Council set up the sessions and aims to encourage running beginners, 18 and over, to build their confidence. stamina, fitness and well-being.
Running and fitness trainer, Rachel Vann will be on-hand to provide free training, advice and support throughout.
She said by adding an early morning session allows people to balance their other commitments and still join in with the fun.
The sessions will kick-start from 6am to 7am from next Thursday, June 6.
The training sessions will be held weekly and cost £25 for the 12 weeks.
