Malvern Editorial 9th Mar, 2016 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

THIS was the scene at Ledbury’s rugby ground after severe floods caused chaos for drivers this morning (Wednesday).

Police in Herefordshire tweeted the image of Ledbury Rugby Club’s home on Ross Road filled up with water. The club’s home is situated close to the River Leadon.

A number of roads in Malvern and surrounding areas have been temporarily closed off because of floods.

It has been announced Stocks Lane in Newland and the B4208 at Castlemorton have been shut by Highway chiefs following the heavy rain.

Clencher’s Mill Lane has also been closed in Eastnor near Ledbury.

Drivers have been advised to avoid areas where roads have been severely flooded.
